Excool Welcomes Cundall Grads For Insights Into Next-Gen Data Center Cooling

Excool was pleased to welcome a group of graduate engineers from Cundall to our headquarters for an in-depth day focused on the rapidly evolving world of data center cooling. As demand for high-density computing, AI workloads, and sustainable cooling technologies increases, these sessions play an important role in helping future engineers understand the technologies shaping tomorrow’s data centers.
The day began with an interactive presentation introducing the Excool brand and our full portfolio of advanced cooling solutions. This included an overview of:
- Excool Switch – our newest hybrid module delivering both liquid and airside cooling within a single packaged system.
- Excool Zero – our flagship indirect evaporative cooling solution designed for ultra-efficient, low-water-use data center environments.
- Excool CDU – (Coolant Distribution Units) – supporting Direct-to-Chip liquid cooling for AI and high-density server racks.
- Excool Dry – scalable solutions enabling flexibility across a wide range of data center cooling strategies.
The group gained valuable insight into how these technologies integrate to deliver resilient, efficient data centre cooling and how liquid cooling is rapidly becoming essential for supporting the rising compute densities driven by artificial intelligence.
Following lunch, the Cundall team toured Excool’s manufacturing facility, where they saw our systems being built, assembled, tested, and prepared for deployment around the world.
We extend a huge thank you to the team from Cundall for taking part in the day. It is always inspiring to connect with the next generation of industry professionals and to support their understanding of the technologies driving the future of sustainable data center infrastructure.
Excool regularly hosts groups who are keen to learn more about data center cooling technologies and the future of high-performance data center cooling solutions.
